The Food Bank of South Jersey believes that no one should go to bed hungry. Since 1985, it has served the children, families, and seniors of Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Salem counties by distributing safe and healthy food, providing nutrition education and cooking courses, and developing sustainable pathways for neighbors to improve their lives. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and member of Feeding America, FBSJ distributed nearly 18 million meals in 2023, through direct distributions and its network of more than 200 partner agencies.

Job Summary:
Promote healthy living while enjoying the benefits of a flexible schedule! The Per Diem Spanish Bilingual Educator will be responsible for translation of materials, delivery of nutrition education programs, and/or interpretation at FBSJ service sites throughout Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties. The Educator will teach healthy cooking classes and healthy cooking demonstrations in Spanish. The Educator must be fluent in both English and Spanish. The Educator will work on an as-needed basis with the ability to select and sign-up for the class or demonstration preferred. Classes are taught during the day, evenings and weekends and may be either remote or in-person. The Educator must be able to come in-person consistently to the main site in Pennsauken, NJ.
